SAIF.Application.LogView is a BOF component library that persists and retrieves application error and audit-message records through the App_Error and App_Info tables. It packages single-record and collection-style business objects for logging, lookup, filtering, paging support, and SQL Server full-text search across stored error and audit text.

Purpose

• Provide reusable business objects for creating application error log rows and application info or audit log rows.
• Provide filtered collection retrieval for log-view use cases, including date filtering, machine, application, environment, and user filters, row-count paging support, and full-text search.

Responsibilities

• Persist App_Error rows through clsAppError and search them through clsAppErrorCollection.
• Persist App_Info rows through clsAppInfo and search them through clsAppInfoCollection.
• Normalize free-text search input into SQL Server CONTAINS(...) predicates.
• Expose the standalone TIMEUNITS, COMPARISONS, STATISTICFIELDS, and SearchTypes enums used by the library's public surface.

Key components

• clsAppError: single-row business object for App_Error inserts, retrieval, and deleted-flag updates.
• clsAppErrorCollection: filtered collection object for App_Error searches and total-count retrieval.
• clsAppInfo: single-row business object for App_Info inserts and retrieval.
• clsAppInfoCollection: filtered collection object for App_Info searches with default EPAY and DirectDeposit exclusion.
• TIMEUNITS, COMPARISONS, and STATISTICFIELDS: standalone public enums declared in clsResources.vb.
• SearchTypes: public enum that selects which App_Info text columns participate in full-text search.
