# SAIF.Business.Claim.ThirdParty overview

SAIF.Business.Claim.ThirdParty is the claim-domain recovery and subrogation library. It groups case, expense, lien, settlement, distribution, note, task, prediction, and bill-audit entities around a large Oracle package contract so claim workflows can manage third-party recovery from one BOF component.

## Purpose
- Provide BOF entities and collections for third-party recovery case management.
- Persist recovery finance records such as expenses, liens, settlements, distributions, and predictions.
- Support recovery search, tasking, note management, and reporting-oriented lookups.

## Responsibilities
- Manage third-party case, participant, and status lifecycles.
- Persist recovery financial subdomains through package-backed criteria classes.
- Provide analytical prediction, statute-date, and search helpers.
- Centralize recovery-specific constants, code lookups, and support entities.

## Key components
- `clsThirdPartyCase` / `clsThrdparty`: anchor the recovery case and third-party participant aggregates.
- Expense, lien, settlement, and distribution classes: model the financial recovery subdomains.
- Task, note, search, and status-history classes: support workflow and case management.
- Prediction and unit-stat helper classes: project recovery outcomes for reporting and analysis.
