GroupInfo

GroupInfo is a lightweight group descriptor returned by the group-association helpers after they resolve customer-group, acronym, suffix, and phone information.

Purpose

  • Hold the normalized group data returned by mdlGroupAssociation helper functions.
  • Derive source-system identifiers from the resolved group fields.

Phone Public Property Phone As String Get or set the phone number associated with the group.
IsParentGroup Public Property IsParentGroup As Boolean Get or set whether the resolved match came from a parent-group lookup.
New Public Sub New(ByVal code As String, ByVal parentGroup As String, ByVal acronym As String, ByVal suffix As String, ByVal phone As String, isParentGroup As Boolean) Initialize a new GroupInfo instance from resolved group fields.
SourceSystemID Public ReadOnly Property SourceSystemID As String Return the uppercase source-system identifier, using ParentGroup for parent-group matches or Code + Suffix otherwise.
CustomerGroup Public ReadOnly Property CustomerGroup As String Return the uppercase customer-group identifier, using ParentGroup for parent-group matches or Code otherwise.

Behavioral notes

  • The computed identifier properties switch between parent-group and direct-group fields based on IsParentGroup.

Constraints and usage notes

  • LoadGroup(...) and LoadLossControlGroup(...) populate this class; LoadRTWGroup(...) returns a string instead of a GroupInfo instance.
