Contact¶
Shared recipient-contact base model for preset-driven policy document distribution.
Purpose¶
- Provide the common recipient display-name, paperless flag, and address fields used by policy-holder, agent, and third-party contacts.
- Centralize contact-type validation so the payload stays within the API's supported recipient codes.
Context¶
- Namespace:
SAIF.Business.Policy.Audit.ApiCalls - Assembly/package:
SAIF.Business.Policy.Audit.ApiCalls
Public members¶
| Member | Signature | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| IsValidContactType | public static bool IsValidContactType(string contactType) |
Checks whether a supplied recipient code is one of the three contact types supported by the preset-distribution contract (BR-AAC-020). |
| FormattedName | public string FormattedName { get; set; } |
Recipient's display name, shared by policy-holder, agent, and third-party contacts for labeling and CC formatting. |
| IsPaperless | public bool IsPaperless { get; set; } |
Indicates the recipient has opted out of paper delivery.* |
| Address | public Address Address { get; set; } |
Recipient's mailing address, used when the preset-distribution service delivers by mail. |
Behavioral notes¶
- Concrete subclasses supply role-specific
CCNameandContactTypevalues. - Only public members are documented here; the protected recipient-code implementation stays internal to the hierarchy.
Constraints and usage notes¶
- The class validates only contact-type codes, not address completeness or recipient eligibility.
Note: Statements marked with * were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts. Statements marked with ** could not be confirmed; treat as unknown until verified.
