# SAIF.Business.Policy.Correspondence overview

`SAIF.Business.Policy.Correspondence` is a BOF business-layer library for policy correspondence. It models correspondence and endorsement rows, loads correspondence-code metadata and read-only detail elements, queues policy output-document work through Oracle procedures, and reconciles stored image references against the external Imaging API.

## Purpose
- Provide reusable business objects for policy correspondence and the endorsement-specific subset of that data.
- Centralize the code-table, detail-element, print/output-document, and imaging behaviors needed by policy applications that work with correspondence.

## Responsibilities
- Create, retrieve, and update `ENDORSEMENT` rows.
- Load `ENDORSE_CODE` metadata used by validation, descriptions, printing, and imaging.
- Surface `POLICY_CORRESPOND_DATA` name/value elements for display and document merge use.
- Insert policy output-document records through `pk73343_output_document`.
- Reconcile stored image IDs against the Imaging API.

- `clsCorrespondence`: Core correspondence business object.
- `clsEndorsement`: Endorsement-only specialization of `clsCorrespondence`.
- `clsCorrespondenceCollection` / `clsEndorsementCollection`: Policy-scoped collection loaders.
- `clsCorrespondenceDetail` / `clsCorrespondenceDetailCollection`: Read-only detail-element loaders.
- `clsCorrespondenceCode` / `clsCorrespondenceCodeCollection`: `ENDORSE_CODE` metadata loaders.
- `clsOutputDocumentInserter`: Oracle output-document wrapper.
