# clsPolicyPeriodRateAdjustment

Represents a rate adjustment applied at the policy period level; holds adjustment factor, type code, and sequence for ordered premium rating at the period level.*

## Purpose
- Persists and retrieves a single rate adjustment (factor, type code, sequence) applied to a policy period's premium.*
- Consumed by policy period rating workflows that accumulate and order rate adjustments for premium computation.*
