BenefitJurisdictions

BenefitJurisdictions is an enumeration generated from the BENEFIT_JURISDICTION_CODE reference table that classifies which workers'-compensation benefit jurisdiction (state or federal) applies to a policy or rating context. It is the enum type produced by clsBenefitJurisdictionCodeMap when translating persisted jurisdiction codes, and it is consumed by iAdjustedRateProvider.BenefitJurisdiction as one of the inputs to adjusted-rate-factor calculations.

Purpose

  • Represent the fixed, closed set of benefit jurisdictions (state vs. federal) recognized by the policy domain, per BR-POL-003.
  • Provide the Unknown fallback value used when a persisted BENEFIT_JURISDICTION_CODE value cannot be mapped, per BR-POL-004.

Context

  • Namespace: SAIF.Business.Policy
  • Assembly/package: SAIF.Business.Policy
