# IPolicyAssociation

`IPolicyAssociation` is the base contract for a relationship between two policies (e.g., a policy and its parent in a wrap-up or leasing arrangement). It reports the related policy number, whether this side of the relationship is the parent, and the `IPolicyAssociationType` describing the kind of relationship. `IPolicyHeaderAssociation` extends this contract with additional header-display fields.

## Purpose
- Identify the related policy (`PolicyNumber`) and the kind of relationship (`AssociationType`) linking two policies.
- Indicate which side of the relationship is the parent via `IsParent`.
