# Configuration settings

`SAIF.Business.Policy` performs no programmatic configuration retrieval of its own. Its direct configuration surface is limited to Oracle provider registration, assembly binding redirects, and empty VB application-settings scaffolding, while runtime connection and environment settings are inherited from the BOF hosting stack.
