# clsPolicyHeaderAssociationFactory

`clsPolicyHeaderAssociationFactory` is the entry point consumers use to obtain display-ready associations. Given a policy it resolves the applicable association types, invokes each type's source procedure, and returns the combined result; given an explicit list of types it restricts itself to those, which is how a consumer avoids paying for association kinds it will not show.

## Purpose

- Produces the policy-header associations for a policy across all applicable types ([Resolve policy-header associations](../../operations/resolve-policy-header-associations.md)).
- Restricts the work to a supplied set of association types ([BR-021](../../business-rules.md#br-021-this-library-never-writes-policy-data)).
