# clsTeamAssignmentCollection

`clsTeamAssignmentCollection` loads every staff assignment on a policy and lets a consumer ask for one by role rather than by position. It also owns the e-mail initialisation for its members, taking a second data portal for the directory read, and reports whether agent or producer data is present at all.

## Purpose

- Retrieves the staff assignments on a policy ([Retrieve supporting policy aggregates](../../operations/retrieve-supporting-policy-aggregates.md)).
- Locates an assignment by team function, which is how the loss-control consultant is found during the access decision ([BR-007](../../business-rules.md#br-007-loss-control-consultants-see-only-policies-they-are-assigned-to)).
- Initialises the e-mail addresses of its members from a separate data portal.*
- Applies masking to its members when masking was requested at retrieval ([BR-013](../../business-rules.md#br-013-user-type-maps-to-a-ranked-access-level)).
