# clsTradingAsCollection

`clsTradingAsCollection` holds every trading name registered against a policy and adds a `Where` operation that returns a collection of the same type, so a consumer can narrow to current names or prior legal names without dropping out of the collection abstraction.

## Purpose

- Retrieves the trading-as names registered against a policy ([Retrieve supporting policy aggregates](../../operations/retrieve-supporting-policy-aggregates.md)).
- Filters its members by predicate while preserving the collection type.
- Tracks a current item and distinguishes removed members from absent ones.
