# clsDCBSCostChargeList

API reference for clsDCBSCostChargeList.

## Purpose
- List wrapper (`Inherits Generic.List(Of clsDCBSCostCharge)`) that executes its own direct retrieval query from its constructor, filtered by a supplied provider location ID.
- Bypasses the `IBusinessCriteria`/data-portal pattern used by the library's BOF business objects.

## Public members
This type declares no additional public members of its own; population happens through an internal `Friend` constructor used by `clsProviderLocation.DCBSCostCharges`.

## Non-public implementation notes
- `Friend Sub New(ByVal inDPI As IDataPortalInfo, ByVal inProviderLocationID As Decimal)` executes the [SQL-001](../../sql/SQL-001-saif-business-view-provider.md) query, constructs a `clsDCBSCostCharge` per result row, and appends each item to the inherited list.

## Behavioral notes
- This class inherits `System.Collections.Generic.List(Of clsDCBSCostCharge)` directly rather than any BOF collection base — it is not a `clsBusinessCollection` and has no `IBusinessCriteria`/`Criteria`.
- The constructor is `Friend` and is the sole population path; there is no shared `Get...`/`New...` static retrieval function.

## Constraints and usage notes
- The constructor is `Friend`, so instances can only be constructed from within the `SAIF.Business.View.Provider` assembly — in practice, only by `clsProviderLocation.DCBSCostCharges` (`New clsDCBSCostChargeList(dpi, ProviderLocationID)`).
