# clsEmployeeLeaveCollection

`clsEmployeeLeaveCollection` is a public class in `SAIF.Business` that inherits `clsBusinessCollection(Of clsEmployeeLeave)` and loads employee-leave records for a system type through a stored procedure.

## Purpose
- Holds `clsEmployeeLeave` items with the typed collection behavior supplied by `clsBusinessCollection(Of clsEmployeeLeave)`.
- Exposes the deleted-items list as a strongly typed `List(Of clsEmployeeLeave)`.
- Retrieves leave rows for a system type and optional start date through `pk82029_titan.select_employee_leave`.

## Context
- Namespace: `SAIF.Business`
- Assembly/package: `SAIF.Business`

## Public members
| Member | Signature | Purpose |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `DeletedList` | `Public Overloads ReadOnly Property DeletedList As List(Of clsEmployeeLeave)` | Returns the base collection's deleted items cast to a strongly typed `List(Of clsEmployeeLeave)`. |
| `GetEmployeeLeave` | `<code>Public Shared Function GetEmployeeLeave(ByVal inDPI As IDataPortalInfo, ByVal inSystemType As SystemTypes, _<br>Optional ByVal inStartDate As Date = Nothing) As clsEmployeeLeaveCollection</code>` | Loads a leave collection for the supplied system type and optional start date. |

## Behavioral notes
- `GetEmployeeLeave` creates a new collection, then calls `Load` with `pk82029_titan.select_employee_leave` and parameters for `SystemTypeCode` and `StartDate`.
- The system-type parameter is derived from `CodeMappings.GetSystemTypeMap().Item(inSystemType).Code` before the load call is issued.
- The collection overrides sort behavior so requests to sort by `EmployeeEmplid` are redirected to the `EmployeeName` property of `clsEmployeeLeave`.
- Other sort requests fall through to the base collection implementation.

## Constraints and usage notes
- This class declares only the members shown here; add/remove/iteration behavior is inherited from `clsBusinessCollection(Of clsEmployeeLeave)`.
- `inStartDate` is optional and is passed through as the `StartDate` SQL parameter when provided.
- The documented page covers only `clsEmployeeLeaveCollection`, not the `clsEmployeeLeave` class defined earlier in the same source file.
