# ControlBindProperty

Mask-edit binder argument objects use this enum to choose which SAIF/Infragistics masked-input surface participates in synchronization, allowing the same binder family to work with raw text, formatted text, dates, generic values, and specialized phone or tax-ID accessors. It is central when registering classic or SAIF-specific mask-edit controls whose meaningful value is not always the default `Value` property.

## Purpose

- Selects the control property read and write path for mask-edit binders.
- Lets callers align binding behavior with the masked editor's formatted, raw, or specialized value semantics.

## Context

- Namespace: `SAIF.Presentation.Web.Binding`
- Assembly/package: `SAIF.Presentation.Web.Binding.Infragistics103` (embedded/bundled as source, not independently packaged)

## Public members

| Member | Signature | Purpose |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Date | `ControlBindProperty.Date` | Targets the date-oriented value surface when a masked editor is being treated as a date input. |
| PhoneValue | `ControlBindProperty.PhoneValue` | Targets the phone-specific accessor used by SAIF mask-edit controls for normalized telephone content. |
| RawText | `ControlBindProperty.RawText` | Uses the unformatted mask text when the binding should preserve entered characters rather than the typed value object. |
| TaxIDValue | `ControlBindProperty.TaxIDValue` | Targets the tax-ID-specific accessor used by SAIF mask-edit controls for normalized identifier content. |
| Text | `ControlBindProperty.Text` | Uses the control's display text when binding should follow the formatted text representation. |
| Value | `ControlBindProperty.Value` | Uses the general typed value property for standard mask-edit object synchronization. |

## Behavioral notes

- SAIF mask-edit binders treat `Text`, `PhoneValue`, and `TaxIDValue` as text-oriented outbound formatting choices, while inbound synchronization can call the specialized phone or tax-ID accessors directly.
- Classic mask-edit binders switch among `Text`, `Value`, and `RawText`; unsupported selections on SAIF-specific binder paths raise an application exception.

## Constraints and usage notes

- Use members that exist on the specific control variant being registered; specialized values are meaningful only for SAIF mask-edit controls.
- Choosing a text-oriented property may bypass stronger typed conversion behavior that would occur through `Value`.
