# WebDateTimeEditBindingArgs

This classic date-time-edit argument carrier extends `clsObjectBindingArgs` with one decision the binder needs but the generic base class does not carry: whether the target business-object property should be treated as a string instead of a date value. The manager uses it to configure classic Infragistics date editor bindings without expanding the base argument shape.

## Purpose
- Flag classic `WebDateTimeEdit` bindings whose source property should be handled as text rather than a date value.
- Keep classic date-editor configuration aligned with the shared `clsObjectBindingArgs` registration pattern.
- Support manager overloads that need more than the base source object and property metadata.

## Context
- Namespace: `SAIF.Presentation.Web.Binding`
- Assembly/package: `SAIF.Presentation.Web.Binding.Infragistics103` (embedded/bundled as source, not independently packaged)

## Public members
| Member | Signature | Purpose |
| --- | --- | --- |
| IsTargetString | `Public ReadOnly Property IsTargetString() As Boolean` | Tells the binder whether to read and write the source property as text instead of a typed date value. |
| New | `Public Sub New(ByVal inTargetIsString As Boolean)` | Creates the argument object with the desired classic date-editor conversion mode. |

## Behavioral notes
- The class adds only one mode flag because the inherited base already carries the rest of the binding metadata.
- The manager reads this flag when configuring classic date-time-editor binders and dual binders.

## Constraints and usage notes
- Use this type when the classic editor displays a date but the bound property is stored as a string.
- For the modern control family, use `WebDateTimeEditorBindingArgs` instead.
