# WebDateTimeEditorBindingArgs

This modern date-time-editor argument carrier extends `clsObjectBindingArgs` with the one conversion-mode flag the binder needs: whether the target business-object property should be handled as a string instead of a typed date value. It gives the modern editor family the same registration flexibility as the classic date-time edit family without expanding the base argument class.

## Purpose
- Flag modern `WebDateTimeEditor` bindings whose source property should be treated as text rather than a date value.
- Keep modern date-editor registration aligned with the shared `clsObjectBindingArgs` pattern.
- Support manager setup paths that need more than the base source object and property metadata.

## Context
- Namespace: `SAIF.Presentation.Web.Binding`
- Assembly/package: `SAIF.Presentation.Web.Binding.Infragistics103` (embedded/bundled as source, not independently packaged)

## Public members
| Member | Signature | Purpose |
| --- | --- | --- |
| IsTargetString | `Public ReadOnly Property IsTargetString() As Boolean` | Tells the binder whether it should convert the source property through a string path instead of a typed date path. |
| New | `Public Sub New(ByVal inTargetIsString As Boolean)` | Creates the argument object with the desired modern date-editor conversion mode. |

## Behavioral notes
- The class adds only one mode flag because the inherited base already covers standard binding metadata.
- The manager uses the same string-target concept for both classic and modern date editor families.

## Constraints and usage notes
- Use this type when a modern date-time editor is bound to a string property.
- For the classic control family, use `WebDateTimeEditBindingArgs` instead.
