WebMaskEditorBindingArgs

This modern mask-editor argument carrier extends clsObjectBindingArgs with the target object data type needed by the non-SAIF WebMaskEditor binder. That type hint guides conversion between the modern editor's masked content and the bound business-object property.

Purpose

  • Tell the modern WebMaskEditor binder which source-side type it should convert to and from.
  • Keep modern mask-editor configuration on the same argument-object path as other binder families.
  • Separate non-SAIF modern mask conversion choices from the SAIF-specific control-property options documented on SAIFMaskEditBindingArgs.

Context

  • Namespace: SAIF.Presentation.Web.Binding
  • Assembly/package: SAIF.Presentation.Web.Binding.Infragistics103 (embedded/bundled as source, not independently packaged)

Public members

Member Signature Purpose
TargetObejctDataType Public ReadOnly Property TargetObejctDataType() As ObjectDataType Exposes the source-side data type the modern mask binder should honor during conversion.
New Public Sub New() Creates a modern mask-editor configuration that uses the class default target type.
New Public Sub New(ByVal inTargetObjectType As ObjectDataType) Creates a modern mask-editor configuration with an explicit target conversion type.

Behavioral notes

  • The class defaults the target type to ObjectDataType.String, matching masked-text scenarios where the editor value is persisted as text.
  • This type mirrors WebMaskEditBindingArgs for the newer control family while preserving the same registration shape.

Constraints and usage notes

  • Use SAIFMaskEditBindingArgs when a modern SAIF mask editor must bind through a non-default control property.
  • The selected target type should match the business-object property the binder updates.
