WebNumericEditorBindingArgs¶
This modern numeric-editor argument carrier extends clsObjectBindingArgs with both the source-side numeric data type and the specific numeric control property that should represent the editor's authoritative value. That combination lets the modern numeric binder choose between textual content, general value access, and typed numeric members when synchronizing the control with the bound object.
Purpose¶
- Tell the modern numeric binder how to convert editor content into the bound source property.
- Select which numeric control member should be read from and written to.
- Keep modern numeric editor registration aligned with the shared argument-object pattern used across the library.
Context¶
- Namespace:
SAIF.Presentation.Web.Binding - Assembly/package:
SAIF.Presentation.Web.Binding.Infragistics103(embedded/bundled as source, not independently packaged)
Public members¶
| Member | Signature | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| TargetObejctDataType | Public ReadOnly Property TargetObejctDataType() As ObjectDataType |
Exposes the source-side type the binder should convert numeric editor content into. |
| ControlProperty | Public ReadOnly Property ControlProperty() As NumericControlProperty |
Selects which numeric editor member the binder should treat as the control-side value. |
| New | Public Sub New() |
Creates a configuration that uses the class defaults for source type and control property. |
| New | Public Sub New(ByVal inTargetObjectType As ObjectDataType) |
Creates a configuration that overrides only the source-side conversion type. |
| New | Public Sub New(ByVal inControlProperty As NumericControlProperty) |
Creates a configuration that overrides only the numeric control member selection. |
| New | Public Sub New(ByVal inTargetDataType As ObjectDataType, ByVal inControlProperty As NumericControlProperty) |
Creates a configuration that fixes both conversion type and control-member selection. |
Behavioral notes¶
- The default configuration assumes
ObjectDataType.DecimalandNumericControlProperty.Value, matching the library's default numeric-editor path. - Splitting type selection from control-member selection lets callers override one concern without restating the other.
Constraints and usage notes¶
- Use the two-argument constructor when both the business-object property type and the numeric control member differ from the defaults.
- For the classic control family, use
WebNumericEditBindingArgsinstead.
