# clsWebDatePickerBinder

This binder connects the modern Infragistics `Infragistics.Web.UI.EditorControls.WebDatePicker` control family to SAIF business-object properties, acting as the newer-editor counterpart to the classic date-entry binders. It keeps the picker on the standard base-class validation path, can treat the target property as either a `Date` value or a string-backed text field, and optionally writes changes back immediately when the picker raises `ValueChanged`.

## Purpose
- Bind a modern Infragistics date picker to a business-object property through the common manager/binder workflow.
- Support both date-valued and string-valued targets through the `TargetTypeIsString` switch.
- Reuse inherited validation/error gathering while specializing date-picker value transfer.

## Behavioral notes
- Setting `TargetTypeIsString` to `True` also changes the control-bind property to `Text`, aligning string targets with the picker's textual representation.
- `ControlToObject()` writes `WebDatePicker.Text` when targeting strings and `WebDatePicker.Value` otherwise.
- The value-changed event handler does no extra validation work of its own; it simply delegates to `ControlToObject()`.

## Constraints and usage notes
- Object-to-control transfer always writes the picker `Value`, so callers relying on custom text formatting still depend on the control's own formatting behavior.
- This binder targets the modern `WebDatePicker` editor family rather than the classic Infragistics date chooser controls.
