clsWebTextEditorBinder¶

This binder adapts the modern Infragistics Infragistics.Web.UI.EditorControls.WebTextEditor family to the SAIF binding pipeline as the newer-editor counterpart to the classic WebTextEdit binder. It lets manager code choose between text/raw-text and value-oriented binding modes, uses the shared base-class reflection and validation services, and can push edits back immediately when the control raises ValueChanged.

Purpose¶

Bind a modern Infragistics text editor to a business-object property through the common manager workflow.
Support either string-oriented or raw value-oriented transfer depending on ControlBindProperty.
Reuse inherited validation/error handling while specializing text-editor event wiring and value projection.

Behavioral notes¶

ControlBindProperty.Text and ControlBindProperty.RawText both use the editor Text property for reverse binding.
Any control-bind-property selection other than Text or RawText falls back to the editor Value channel for both directions.
The change handler delegates directly to ControlToObject(), so event-driven updates use the same conversion path as manager-driven synchronization.

Constraints and usage notes¶

This binder does not add formatter-specific logic beyond choosing between text and value channels; any masking or numeric conversion belongs to other editor binders.
Because RawText writeback reuses Text, consumers should not expect a distinct raw-text outbound path when updating the business object.
