SAIFTabBarTab

SAIFTabBarTab is the serializable per-tab data model for SAIFTabBar, carrying the display text, ordering, selection, enabled/visible flags, and rendering hints (AccessKey, Width, ToolTip) that SAIFTabBar.CreateChildControls uses to build each tab's LinkButton.

Purpose

  • Hold the declarative, markup-persisted state for a single tab within a SAIFTabBarTabCollection.

Context

  • Namespace: SAIF.Presentation.Web.Controls.V2
  • Assembly/package: Compiled into SAIF.BOF.Presentation.Web.Infragistics103*

Public members

Member Signature Purpose
ID Public Property ID As String Uniquely identifies the tab; defaults to a new GUID, and is used to match rendered LinkButtons back to their model during click handling.
AccessKey Public Property AccessKey As String Keyboard access key applied to the rendered tab's LinkButton.
Enabled Public Property Enabled As Boolean Controls whether the tab is clickable; disabled tabs render with Disabled/DisabledSelected CSS classes. Defaults to True.
IsSelected Public Property IsSelected As Boolean Indicates whether this tab is the currently active tab, driving Selected/SelectedSibling CSS classes.
Key Public Property Key As String Caller-assigned key for correlating the tab to external data; not used internally by SAIFTabBar's own logic*.
Order Public Property Order As Integer Sort key used by SAIFTabBarTabCollection.Sort to order tabs before rendering.
Text Public Property Text As String The tab's display label.
ToolTip Public Property ToolTip As String Tooltip text applied to the rendered tab's LinkButton.
Visible Public Property Visible As Boolean Controls whether the tab renders at all; defaults to True.
Width Public Property Width As Unit Explicit width applied to the rendered tab's LinkButton.
New() Public Sub New() Constructs an empty tab model; ID still defaults to a new GUID via its own property initializer rather than constructor logic, so a tab is usable in a collection immediately after construction without further setup*.

Behavioral notes

  • Decorated <NotifyParentProperty(True)> on most properties so changes made in the designer correctly propagate to the parent SAIFTabBar's markup persistence.

Constraints and usage notes

  • ID must be unique within the owning SAIFTabBar's Tabs collection, since SAIFTabBar.Item/GetTabByID look up tabs by this value.

Note: Statements marked with * were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts.
