# SortOrder

`SortOrder` specifies the sort direction accepted by `SAIFTabBarTabCollection.Sort`, though the underlying `Sorter(Of T).Compare` implementation does not apply this top-level direction to its per-property comparisons*.

- Provide a strongly-typed sort-direction parameter for `SAIFTabBarTabCollection.Sort`.

## Public members
| Member | Signature | Purpose |

| `Ascending` | `Ascending = 0` | Requests ascending sort order; the default and effectively the only order applied by the current `Sorter(Of T)` implementation*. |
| `Descending` | `Descending = 1` | Requests descending sort order; accepted as a parameter value but not applied by `SAIFTabBarTabCollection.Sort`'s current implementation*. |

## Behavioral notes
- Also used internally within `Sorter(Of T).Compare` to interpret per-property ` DESC`/` ASC` suffixes parsed from a `SortString`, distinct from the collection-level `Sort(Direction)` parameter.
