# clsControlManager.DDLAddItems

`DDLAddItems` is a public enum nested inside [`clsControlManager`](clsControlManager.md) that controls what kind of blank placeholder item — if any style is requested — is prepended to a dropdown list when `LoadDDL` binds it, so callers can choose between an explicit literal placeholder, an empty string, or a single space without hardcoding string values at each call site.

## Purpose
- Let callers of `LoadDDL` select the visual style of the blank/placeholder first item added to a dropdown list during data binding.
- Avoid ad-hoc string literals (`""`, `" "`, a fixed label) scattered across consuming application code for the same purpose.

## Values

- This enum has no members beyond the three placeholder styles; callers select exactly one value per `LoadDDL` invocation.
