# clsApplicationCodeCollection

A collection of `clsApplicationCode` instances, used by [BR-MENU-012](../../business-rules.md#br-menu-012-application-resolution-by-virtual-path) (application resolution by path, [OP-MENU-04](../../operations/op-menu-04-resolve-application-by-path.md)) and administration screens ([OP-MENU-05](../../operations/op-menu-05-load-application-codes.md)) that need the full or active-only application list.

## Purpose
- Loads and holds the set of registered application codes retrieved via [SQL-013](../../sql/SQL-013-retrieve-all-application-codes.md) or [SQL-014](../../sql/SQL-014-retrieve-active-application-codes.md).
- Provides path-based lookup (`ItemByAppPath`) used by application resolution ([BR-MENU-012](../../business-rules.md#br-menu-012-application-resolution-by-virtual-path)).
