# NumericControlProperty

`NumericControlProperty` names the specific Infragistics numeric-editor property a numeric binder reads/writes, so the correct CLR-typed value is preserved end to end ([BR-BIND-014](../../business-rules.md#br-bind-014-numeric-editors-write-configured-value-property)).

## Purpose
- Select the precise numeric value property (`clsWebNumericEditBinder`, `clsWebNumericEditorBinder`) instead of always going through a generic `Text`/`Value` property ([BR-BIND-014](../../business-rules.md#br-bind-014-numeric-editors-write-configured-value-property)).
