# SAIFMenuTop.ToolBarButton

`SAIFMenuTop.ToolBarButton` enumerates the logical toolbar actions that `SAIFMenuTop` can render. Each toolbar icon maps to exactly one `ToolBarButton` value ([BR-MENU-075](../../business-rules.md#br-menu-075-each-toolbar-icon-maps-to-exactly-one-toolbarbutton-value)), and the value is carried by the `ToolbarClick` event so the hosting page can dispatch to the appropriate action without the control performing it itself. Toolbar icons render in fixed groups, with a pipe separator image following the Insert/Save/Delete group ([BR-MENU-069](../../business-rules.md#br-menu-069-toolbar-icons-render-in-fixed-groups), [BR-MENU-070](../../business-rules.md#br-menu-070-a-pipe-separator-image-renders-after-the-insertsavedelete-group)).

## Purpose
- Identify which toolbar action was clicked when `SAIFMenuTop.ToolbarClick` fires.
- Provide a stable, closed set of toolbar actions that both `SAIFMenuTop` and hosting pages agree on.

## Context
- Namespace: `SAIF.Presentation.Web.Controls.V2.Menu`
- Assembly/package: `SAIF.Presentation.Web.Controls.V2.Menu` (shipped merged into `SAIF.Presentation.Web.Infragistics111.dll` via ILMerge)

## Public members
| Member | Signature | Purpose |

| `Insert` | `Insert` | The user clicked the Insert icon. |
| `Save` | `Save` | The user clicked the Save icon. |
| `Delete` | `Delete` | The user clicked the Delete icon. |

| `Help` | `Help` | The user clicked the Help icon; this also raises `MenuNavigate` in addition to `ToolbarClick` ([BR-MENU-076](../../business-rules.md#br-menu-076-the-help-icon-raises-both-toolbarclickhelp-and-menunavigate)). |
| `PrefsSet` | `PrefsSet` | The user clicked the "Set as preference" icon. |
| `PrefsClear` | `PrefsClear` | The user clicked the "Clear preference" icon. |

## Behavioral notes
- `SAIFMenuTop` does not re-check the button's visibility or enabled state when handling a click; the `ToolBarButton` value is dispatched as-is ([BR-MENU-077](../../business-rules.md#br-menu-077-toolbar-click-handling-does-not-re-check-visibility-or-enabled-state)).

## Constraints and usage notes
- Hosting pages must handle every `ToolBarButton` value they enable on their toolbar configuration; `SAIFMenuTop` does not provide default behaviour for any value.*

> **Note:** Statements marked with * were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts.
