# MultiListControl

Composes a textbox, an image button, and a checkbox list into a single drop-down multi-select control, auto-closing the list on focus loss so pages get multi-select UX without wiring the three constituent controls themselves [BR-V2-061](../../business-rules.md#br-v2-061-multi-select-list-composed-of-textbox-image-button-and-checkbox-list).

## Purpose
- Assembles the textbox/button/checkbox-list composite and wires the drop-down show/hide behavior [BR-V2-061](../../business-rules.md#br-v2-061-multi-select-list-composed-of-textbox-image-button-and-checkbox-list).
- Auto-closes the checkbox list when focus leaves the control [BR-V2-063](../../business-rules.md#br-v2-063-list-auto-closes-on-focus-loss).
- Ships its client-side assets as embedded web resources rather than requiring separate deployment [BR-V2-064](../../business-rules.md#br-v2-064-multi-list-assets-ship-as-embedded-web-resources).

## Behavioral notes

## Constraints and usage notes
- `ListDatasource` and `TextDatasource` must be kept in a compatible shape/order since the control correlates them positionally.
