# SAIFAlphaNumericLinkControl

Renders a fixed A-through-Z-plus-Number filter bar as a row of `SAIFLinkButton` controls and raises a single `LinkClicked` event carrying the selected character, so host pages can filter data without building the link row themselves [BR-V2-089](../../business-rules.md#br-v2-089-alphanumeric-bar-always-renders-the-full-a-z-range).

## Purpose
- Always renders the full fixed A-Z + Number range regardless of the underlying data [BR-V2-089](../../business-rules.md#br-v2-089-alphanumeric-bar-always-renders-the-full-a-z-range).
- Delivers the clicked character to the host page through a single `LinkClicked` event rather than per-link handlers [BR-V2-091](../../business-rules.md#br-v2-091-clicked-character-delivered-via-linkclicked-event).

- Host pages must handle `LinkClicked` to get any filtering effect; the control performs no filtering itself.
