# SAIFTabs

A client-side tab strip that shows/hides sibling `<div>` content panels and raises selection-change events, identifying tabs by their client ID and content div ID [BR-V2-066](../../business-rules.md#br-v2-066-tabs-identified-by-client-id-and-content-div-id).

## Purpose
- Identifies each tab by both its client ID and the content `<div>` ID it controls, so client script can toggle the right panel [BR-V2-066](../../business-rules.md#br-v2-066-tabs-identified-by-client-id-and-content-div-id).
- Persists tab selection state through custom view-state methods across postback [BR-V2-075](../../business-rules.md#br-v2-075-tab-state-persisted-through-custom-view-state-methods).
