# BolSideMenuViewComponent

View component that renders the left-hand BOL menu, including the favorites list, from a loaded `BusinessOnlineMenu`.

## Purpose
- Wrap the menu and current page in a `BolMenuViewModel` for the `BolSideMenu` view.

- Declared async but contains no await.

- The menu must be non-null; layouts show the error view otherwise ([BR-BOLMIDDLEWARE-016](../../business-rules.md#br-bolmiddleware-016-null-menu-error-view)).
