# BasicAppMap

Options class bound from the `BasicAppMap` configuration section. It tells the menu views which application they render for, which menu category to show, and how request paths map to page identifiers.

## Purpose
- Supply the application name, menu category, and page ids to `_BolMenuItemPartial` and the top menu component.

## Context
- Namespace: `BolMiddleware.Models.MenuModels`
- Assembly/package: `BolMiddleware`

## Public members
| Member | Signature | Purpose |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `ApplicationName` | `string ApplicationName` | Application name sent as the source of menu navigation. |
| `AppMenuCategory` | `string AppMenuCategory` | Category code that selects which menu items appear in the top menu. |
| `PageIds` | `Dictionary<string,string> PageIds` | Path to page id map; the `HomePage` entry is used when the path is empty. |

- Implements `IAppMap`; defaults are empty values.
