# MenuService

Thin facade over `IBolMenuApiClient`. It catches every exception from the menu call and returns null, so a menu outage turns into the error view instead of a crash.

## Purpose
- Fetch the user's menu from the BOL Menu API and convert failures to null ([BR-BOLMIDDLEWARE-016](../../business-rules.md#br-bolmiddleware-016-null-menu-error-view), [BR-BOLMIDDLEWARE-021](../../business-rules.md#br-bolmiddleware-021-silent-failure-degradation)).
