# SOAP client proxy documentation

This proxy calls the external `WSLogging`† ASMX service to record error entries; it is consumed by `SAIF.Services.Web.Proxies`, and its one in-repository caller is `EnvironmentApi.SAIFExceptionLogger`, the global `IExceptionLogger` for the `EnvironmentApi` Web API project, which references the proxy library through a binary `HintPath` rather than a project reference.
