# BulkClaimData

BulkClaimData is the condensed per-claim record used when retrieving multiple claims at once, combining core claim status/identity fields with nested `BulkClaimClaimant` and `BulkClaimPolicy` summaries; it is the element type of `ClaimsData.claims`, returned by `ClaimDataApiClient.GetClaims(List<long> claimIds)` (see ../SAIF.Data.Guidewire.Clients/ClaimDataApiClient.md).

## Purpose
- Provides a lighter-weight claim projection than `ClaimData` for bulk/multi-claim retrieval, carrying claim identity, status, security flags, and abbreviated claimant/policy data.

## Behavioral notes
- This type intentionally omits the extensive fields present on `ClaimData` (e.g. reserve review, jurisdiction, wait-day dates), favoring a smaller payload suited to bulk retrieval.*
