# NonConvertedClaim

NonConvertedClaim represents a claim that has not been converted into the current Guidewire ClaimCenter system, retaining legacy identifiers and a subset of claimant/policy fields; it is the return type of `ClaimDataApiClient.GetNonConvertedClaim(string claimNumber)` (see ../SAIF.Data.Guidewire.Clients/ClaimDataApiClient.md).

## Purpose
- Carries the minimal identity, claimant, and policy information available for claims that predate/bypass Guidewire conversion, along with a legacy claims-character indicator and access flags.

## Behavioral notes
- `DateOfBirth` is typed as `string` here, unlike the `DateTime` used for the equivalent field on `Claimant`, since this type represents a legacy/non-converted record rather than a full Guidewire ClaimCenter claim.*
