# PaymentsData

PaymentsData aggregates a claim's payment history and running total, and is exposed as the `Payments` property of `ClaimFinancialData` (see ../SAIF.Data.Guidewire.Models.ClaimDataApi/ClaimFinancialData.md, mapped from the `claimPayments` JSON field), returned by `ClaimDataApiClient.GetGWClaimFinancials` (see ../SAIF.Data.Guidewire.Clients/ClaimDataApiClient.md).

## Purpose
- Summarizes the claim's payment activity with the date of the most recent payment, the total amount paid to date, and the full list of individual `Payment` transactions.
