# ReservesData

ReservesData wraps a claim's reserve amounts across all cost categories along with the date they were calculated, and is exposed as the `Reserves` property of `ClaimFinancialData` (see ../SAIF.Data.Guidewire.Models.ClaimDataApi/ClaimFinancialData.md, mapped from the `claimReserves` JSON field), returned by `ClaimDataApiClient.GetGWClaimFinancials` (see ../SAIF.Data.Guidewire.Clients/ClaimDataApiClient.md).
It defines a full set of `Category` constants used by the nested `Reserve` entries.

## Purpose
- Groups the claim's `Reserve` entries (one per cost category) together with the as-of date those reserve figures were calculated.
- Exposes named constants for every known reserve category so calling code can compare `Reserve.Category` without hardcoding strings.

## Behavioral notes
- The source code includes a comment acknowledging that GWCC misspells "chargable" in the `CategoryOtherNonChargeableExpense` value as of 9/19, to be updated if/when GWCC corrects it; the current accuracy of this value against the live Guidewire API was not verified.**
