# RecoveryPayment

RecoveryPayment is a single line item within the `LineItems` list of [RecoveryFinancialData](RecoveryFinancialData.md), the request payload posted by [FinancialDataApiClient](../SAIF.Data.Guidewire.Clients/FinancialDataApiClient.md).CreateRecoveryAsync, carrying the amount, comments, line category, and service date range for a recovery line item. All properties carry explicit `JsonProperty` attributes mapping to Guidewire's camelCase JSON field names.

## Purpose
- Represents a single recovery payment line item (amount, comments, line category, service dates) within a recovery financial transaction request

## Behavioral notes
- Included in the `LineItems` collection of [RecoveryFinancialData](RecoveryFinancialData.md) when creating a recovery via [FinancialDataApiClient](../SAIF.Data.Guidewire.Clients/FinancialDataApiClient.md).CreateRecoveryAsync.
- `ServiceEndDate` is only included in the serialized request when set (`NullValueHandling.Ignore`).
