# ProviderAddressRequest

ProviderAddressRequest is the request payload for [ProviderDataApiClient](../SAIF.Data.Guidewire.Clients/ProviderDataApiClient.md)'s address add/update operation, carrying the address lines, city/state/country, postal code details, primary flag, validity date, and the target provider number. The client's add/update call does not check the response status ([SDG-BR-014](../../business-rules.md#sdg-br-014-provider-address-changes-are-fire-and-forget)), so a failed request is silently unverified by the caller.

## Purpose
- Carries the address fields and target provider number for adding or updating a provider's address in Guidewire ContactManager

## Behavioral notes
- The response status of the add/update call is never inspected, so a failed request produces no observable error to the caller ([SDG-BR-014](../../business-rules.md#sdg-br-014-provider-address-changes-are-fire-and-forget)).
