# Get e-bill EOB extract

Retrieve the e-bill explanation-of-benefits extract from the Medical Billing API for a given clearinghouse.

## Steps

1. Resolve the URL (`cc.medicalbillingapiurl`) and credentials (`medicalbillingapi.creds`); the timeout is 10 minutes ([SD-BR-003](../business-rules.md#sd-br-003-service-base-url-must-come-from-environment-configuration), [SD-BR-004](../business-rules.md#sd-br-004-credentials-retrieved-from-secure-setting-decrypted-with-system-hash)).
2. GET `v2/Integration/EbillEobExtract?clearinghouseCode={code}&rowLimit={n}` and deserialize the result.
