SendToAuditRequestValidator

Validates a SendToAuditRequest, which routes a bill for audit review, requiring accompanying note text that is non-null and no more than 600 characters. It accepts an IRepositoryFactory via constructor injection, but the dependency is not referenced by any rule in the constructor body, so it currently plays no role in the validation logic.*

Purpose

  • Requires NoteText to be non-null.
  • Limits NoteText to at most 600 characters.

Context

  • Namespace: SAIF.Services.Claims.Bills.Validators
  • Assembly/package: SAIF.Services (packaged inside the SAIF.SAIFCode.Core NuGet package)

Member Signature Purpose
SendToAuditRequestValidator SendToAuditRequestValidator(IRepositoryFactory factory) Wires a NotNull rule and a 0–600 character length rule for NoteText; the injected factory is unused in the visible rule set.*

Behavioral notes

  • Validation is enforced via FluentValidation's AbstractValidator<T> base.*
  • The constructor parameter factory is explicitly marked with a code-analysis suppression for unused parameters, confirming it is intentionally unused rather than an oversight.*

Constraints and usage notes

  • Requires an IRepositoryFactory to be supplied via constructor injection for construction, even though it is not exercised by any current rule.

Note: Statements marked with * were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts. Statements marked with ** could not be confirmed; treat as unknown until verified.
