# SQL-381: Delete EmployeeAuthorityLimit via DeleteAuthority

This statement deletes the `EmployeeAuthorityLimit` entity identified by its `CL_CLM_EMP_BUS_FUN_LIM_SEQ_NUM` key from `CL_CLAIM_EMP_BUS_FUNC_LIMIT`, executed via `IUnitOfWork.GetRepository<T>().Delete(...)` from `Services/SAIF.Services/Claims/Authority/ClaimAuthorityService.cs (L278)` in `ClaimAuthorityService.DeleteAuthority`. The SQL below is inferred from this repository call and the NHibernate `EmployeeAuthorityLimitMap` mapping — it is not literal SQL present in source.

## Classification

| Field | Value |
| --- | --- |
| **SQL ID** | SQL-381 |
| **Operation type** | Delete |
| **Execution method** | ORM (IRepository.Delete) |
| **Database** | Oracle |
| **Schema** | [unqualified]** |
| **Command type** | N/A (ORM-generated) |
| **Business object** | `EmployeeAuthorityLimit` |
| **Criteria property** | N/A — ORM |
| **Lifecycle method** | `DeleteAuthority` |

## Parameters

| Parameter | Direction | Type | Max length | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `:Id` | Input | long | N/A | Identifier of the EmployeeAuthorityLimit being deleted (`CL_CLM_EMP_BUS_FUN_LIM_SEQ_NUM`) |

## Tables

| Table | Access | Columns used |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [CL_CLAIM_EMP_BUS_FUNC_LIMIT](../database-tables.md#cl_claim_emp_bus_func_limit) | DELETE | `CL_CLM_EMP_BUS_FUN_LIM_SEQ_NUM` |

## LINQ statement

Source: `Services/SAIF.Services/Claims/Authority/ClaimAuthorityService.cs:278`

```csharp
// Services/SAIF.Services/Claims/Authority/ClaimAuthorityService.cs:278
_unitOfWork.GetRepository<EmployeeAuthorityLimit>().Delete(authorityLimit);
```

## Sample SQL

> **Inferred SQL:** This SQL was inferred from the LINQ statement above and the NHibernate mappings. It is not concrete SQL from source code; NHibernate generates the executed statement at runtime, so aliases, column order, join syntax, and bind-parameter names may differ.

```sql
-- Inferred from LINQ (NHibernate mapping translation); not concrete SQL
DELETE FROM CL_CLAIM_EMP_BUS_FUNC_LIMIT
WHERE CL_CLM_EMP_BUS_FUN_LIM_SEQ_NUM = :Id
```

Translation notes:

- After `Delete`, the method mutates the same instance (lines 280-282) for history purposes; no further SQL is inferred from those assignments here.
