AmtSegment

AmtSegment models the X12 AMT monetary amount segment, a generic carrier for a single qualified dollar amount (for example an accepted-amount figure in a 999 acknowledgement or a summary total in an 835/837 transaction), pairing an amount-qualifier code with the numeric value it qualifies.

Purpose

  • Represents the AMT segment identity via SegmentId returning the literal "AMT" (BR-020).
  • Carries AmountQualifierCode identifying what kind of amount is being reported, paired with AcceptedAmount holding the numeric value.

Context

  • Namespace: SAIF.Common.Files.Edi.Segments
  • Assembly/package: SAIF.Framework.Common.Files
