PrvSegment¶

PrvSegment models the X12 PRV provider-information segment, used in 837 claim transactions to identify a provider's role and specialty (taxonomy) code within a claim.

Purpose¶

Represents the PRV segment identity via SegmentId returning the literal "PRV" (BR-020).
Carries Type classifying the provider's role in the claim, Qualifier identifying the code list for Taxonomy, and Taxonomy, the provider's specialty code.

Fill	`void Fill(IEdiSegment segment)`	Reads elements 1-3 via `GetChildValue` into `Type`, `Qualifier`, and `Taxonomy`.
Parse	`static PrvSegment Parse(IEdiSegment segment)`	Instantiates a new `PrvSegment`, calls `Fill(segment)` on it, and returns it.
