# RuleEvent

`RuleEvent` is the public delegate signature used by [clsRulesManagerBase](clsRulesManagerBase.md)'s `RuleBroken` and `RuleNotBroken` events.

## Purpose
- Define the callback signature for rule-violation notification handlers: `void RuleEvent(object rule)`.

## Context
- Namespace: `SAIF.Framework`
- Assembly/package: `SAIF.BOF.Framework.Bindable.csproj` (packed into the `SAIF.BOF.Framework` NuGet package)*

## Public members
| Member | Signature | Purpose |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `RuleEvent` | `delegate void RuleEvent(object rule)` | Delegate signature invoked when a `RuleBroken` or `RuleNotBroken` event fires, passing the rule object that triggered the notification. |

## Behavioral notes
- Two additional delegate declarations were found commented out (disabled) in the same source file and were excluded from analysis; only this active `RuleEvent` delegate is part of the public surface.*

## Constraints and usage notes
- Handlers subscribing to `clsRulesManagerBase.RuleBroken`/`RuleNotBroken` must match this delegate's `void(object rule)` signature.

> **Note:** Statements marked with * were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or
> contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts. Statements
> marked with ** could not be confirmed; treat as unknown until verified.
