# Opcode

`Opcode` enumerates the DNS query opcode values (RFC1035 4.1.1) that apply to all questions in a request.

## Purpose
- Specify the kind of query being performed via `Request.Opcode`; only `StandardQuery` is used by this library's own lookup operations.

## Context
- Namespace: `SAIF.Framework.DNS`
- Assembly/package: `SAIF.BOF.Framework.DNS`

## Public members
| Member | Signature | Purpose |
| --- | --- | --- |
| StandardQuery | `StandardQuery = 0` | A standard query; the default value used by `Request`. |
| InverseQuerty | `InverseQuerty = 1` | An inverse query (name misspelled in source as `InverseQuerty`). |
| StatusRequest | `StatusRequest = 2` | A server status request. |
| Reserverd3`–`Reserverd15 | `Reserverd3 = 3` … `Reserverd15 = 15` | Reserved opcode values (names misspelled in source as `Reserverd*`). |

## Behavioral notes
- `Request`'s default constructor sets `Opcode` to `StandardQuery`; `Resolver.MXLookup` and `Resolver.Lookup` do not override this value.
- Several enum member names contain source-level typos (`InverseQuerty`, `Reserverd3`…`Reserverd15`) that are preserved here verbatim since they are part of the public compiled surface*.

> **Note:** Statements marked with * were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or
> contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts.
