clsAttorneyTableManager

clsAttorneyTableManager drives the attorney assignment table maintenance screens: attorney conflicts, policy assignments, worker assignments, schedules, time off, and out-of-town rotation. It also exposes AJAX endpoints for policy/conflict lookups (ProcessAjaxRequest) and produces rotation/conflict reports, which couples this Application-tier class directly to System.Web.HttpContext/HttpRequest rather than keeping it a UI-agnostic service layer. It inherits LegalManagerBase (this library) → ClaimAppManager (SAIF.Application.Claim).

Purpose

  • Maintain the attorney assignment reference tables: conflicts, policy assignments, worker assignments, schedules, time off, and out-of-town rotation.
  • Serve AJAX policy/conflict lookup requests directly from HttpContext.Current.Request, returning JSON via JavaScriptSerializer.
  • Produce rotation/conflict reports for the attorney-table maintenance screens.

Context

  • Namespace: SAIF.Application.Claim.Legal
  • Assembly/package: SAIF.Application.Claim.Legal.dll (embedded library, referenced by the Legal web front end)

Public members

Member Signature Purpose
New(inDatabase, inSecurityPrincipal) Public Sub New(inDatabase As String, inSecurityPrincipal As clsSecurityPrincipal) Constructs the manager for the given database context and authenticated principal, calling into LegalManagerBase.New.
ProcessAjaxRequest() Public Sub ProcessAjaxRequest()* Reads HttpContext.Current.Request parameters directly and writes a JSON response for policy/conflict AJAX lookups, coupling this class to the ASP.NET web tier.
AttorneyConflictCol Public ReadOnly Property AttorneyConflictCol As clsAttorneyConflictCollection* Exposes the attorney-conflict collection backing the conflicts maintenance grid.
AttorneyScheduleCol Public ReadOnly Property AttorneyScheduleCol As clsAttorneyScheduleCollection* Exposes the attorney schedule/time-off collection backing the schedule maintenance grid.
GetRotationReport() Public Function GetRotationReport() As String* Produces the out-of-town rotation/conflict report content for printing/export.

Behavioral notes

  • Direct HttpContext.Current/HttpRequest usage in ProcessAjaxRequest is a tighter coupling to the ASP.NET web tier than the rest of this library's manager classes typically exhibit — this Application-layer class is web-request-aware rather than a pure UI-agnostic service*.
  • Reference-table maintenance here (conflicts, assignments, schedules, rotation) is separate from the claim-context lifecycle inherited from LegalManagerBase; most operations are scoped to attorney/policy reference data rather than a single legal case*.

Constraints and usage notes

  • Callers invoking ProcessAjaxRequest must supply the expected request parameters via HttpContext.Current.Request; there is no strongly-typed method overload for AJAX callers**.
