SAIF.Application.Claim.Legal dependencies¶
Internal dependencies¶
| Dependency | Reference Type | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| SAIF.Application | Project Reference | Base application-framework types (AppManager infrastructure, AppGlobal, EnvironmentService) that ClaimAppManager/LegalManagerBase build on. |
| SAIF.Application.Claim | Project Reference | Supplies ClaimAppManager (direct base class of LegalManagerBase), ClaimData, ClaimSecurity, ClaimAppConstants. |
| SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal | Project Reference | Primary business-tier collaborator: clsLegalCase, clsAppeal, clsLegalSchedule, clsCaseNote, clsCaseOutcome, clsAttorneyProfile, clsHearingLocation, clsLegalPerson, clsOtherFirm, clsCaseCost, clsFindCase, clsAssignmentProcess, used by nearly every manager class. |
| SAIF.Business.View.Policy | Project Reference | Declared <ProjectReference> in the .vbproj; no direct type usage was found while scanning this library's source — may be consumed only transitively or the reference may be unused from this library's own code**. |
| SAIF.Services.Appworx | Project Reference | clsRequestAppworxJob.SubmitBatchJob — submits batch print jobs (letters, cover letters) for the Create-File and Mail-Date workflows. |
| SAIF.Services.Printing | Project Reference | Declared <ProjectReference> in the .vbproj; no direct type usage was found while scanning this library's source**. |
External dependencies¶
| Dependency | Version | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| SAIF.BOF.Framework.Core | (binary reference) | Supplies clsBusinessBase, IDataPortalInfo, and base data-portal types consumed by clsLegalData and the inherited AppManagerBase chain. |
| SAIF.BOF.Framework.Security | (binary reference) | clsSecurityPrincipal/IsAuthorized — the sole abstraction point for all authorization checks in this library. |
| SAIF.BOF.Framework.Security.EnvironmentApi | (binary reference) | EnvironmentService/AppGlobal.EnvironmentService — GetConfigSetting, GetApplicationEnvironment() used for the cc.ccclaimdataapiurl setting and non-Production email-safety branching. |
| SAIF.BOF.Framework.Logging | (binary reference) | Logging.clsLogError.CreateError — error logging for best-effort Guidewire/external-integration failures. |
| SAIF.BOF.Framework.Mail | (binary reference) | Mail.SendMail — DEF hearing email notifications. |
| SAIF.BOF.Framework.Connection / DNS | (binary reference) | Underlying BOF data-portal/connection infrastructure (clsDataAccess, IDataPortal) used transitively through LegalManagerBase/AppManagerBase. |
| SAIF.Business, SAIF.Business.Claim, SAIF.Business.Claim.Maintenance, SAIF.Business.Tasks, SAIF.Business.Tasks.Claim, SAIF.Business.View.Claim, SAIF.Business.View.Provider | (binary reference) | Supporting business-tier types (clsConstants, clsProviderLocation/clsProviderLocationCollection). |
| SAIF.Framework.Common, SAIF.HashUtil, SAIF.ResourceFiles | (binary reference) | Shared utilities/resources; no direct symbol usage confirmed in scanned files**. |
| SAIF.Services.Exchange | (binary reference) | Referenced binary; no direct usage found in scanned source**. |
| SAIF.Web.API.Clients / SAIF.Web.API.Core | (binary reference) | ApiClient, ApiRequest, ApiRoute, ApiRouteType, DPI.ApiClients — used to call Guidewire (GwMatterApi, GWActivityData, GWClaimDataApi) and ccclaimdataapi. |
| Oracle.ManagedDataAccess | 21.5.0 | ODP.NET Managed Driver for Oracle database access; provider factory registered in Web.config/app.config. |
| System.Data.OracleClient | (BCL) | Legacy Oracle client reference alongside the ODP.NET managed driver. |
| System.Web, System.Web.Extensions | (BCL) | HttpContext.Current.Cache for in-process code-table caching; JavaScriptSerializer for AJAX JSON responses. |
| RestSharp | 106.12.0 | Transitive dependency of SAIF.Web.API.Clients; no direct symbol usage confirmed in scanned files**. |
| Newtonsoft.Json | 8.0.3 | Referenced assembly; no direct symbol usage confirmed in scanned files**. |
Transitive dependencies¶
Dependencies in this section are inherited from dependency framework libraries. They are not directly referenced by this library but are required at runtime through framework packages.
| Dependency | Source framework | Type | Usage |
|---|---|---|---|
clsBusinessBase (base class of clsLegalData and, via AppManagerBase, every concrete manager) |
SAIF.Framework.Core |
Transitive | Provides the inherited rule-engine (clsRulesManager), edit-session (BeginEdit/CancelEdit/ApplyEdit), link-management, and IDataErrorInfo surface; not directly invoked by this library's own code, but present on every manager instance through inheritance† |
Dependency risks and notes¶
SAIF.Business.View.PolicyandSAIF.Services.Printingare declared<ProjectReference>s inSAIF.Application.Claim.Legal.vbprojbut have no confirmed direct type usage in this library's scanned source — the references may be unused or consumed only transitively; verify before considering either removable**.SAIF.Services.Exchangeis referenced as a binary with no confirmed direct usage in this library's source**.- Two application-layer SQL statements (
SQL-019,SQL-020) and one status-code list (SQL-024) build query text via runtime string concatenation instead of Oracle bind variables; while the concatenated values are typed (not raw external user input), this is an inconsistency against the bind-variable pattern used elsewhere and a potential (low-risk) SQL-construction risk*. - Guidewire (
GwMatterApi,GWActivityData,GWClaimDataApi) andccclaimdataapiintegrations are treated as best-effort/non-transactional: on failure they are logged viaLogging.clsLogError.CreateErrorand do not block or roll back the primary save — an operational risk if downstream consumers assume Guidewire is always kept in sync. - No secure/encrypted configuration settings, no local
<appSettings>, and no custom business configuration sections are defined in this library; the only environment-varying settings arecc.ccclaimdataapiurland theGetApplicationEnvironment()branch used for non-Production email redirection. - Database tables accessed by this library's own application-layer SQL are recorded as unqualified (no explicit schema owner) in the DB analysis; the
DataLayer.DBUser = "LGN"literal is a possible, unconfirmed schema-owner hint*.
