clsBodyPartCode

clsBodyPartCode is a code-table entry type in the CodeTables component grouping of SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal. It represents one row of the LEGAL_BODY_PART_CODE reference table, populated by clsBodyPartCodes (GetBodyPartCode) via a query ordered by display_sort_num, code_descr.* Consumers use DisplaySortNum to render body-part options in the screen-defined order rather than alphabetically by code.

Purpose

  • Represents one selectable legal body-part code/description pair sourced from LEGAL_BODY_PART_CODE.
  • Preserves the table-driven display order via DisplaySortNum so UI dropdowns render in the intended sequence rather than code order.

Context

  • Namespace: SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal.CodeTables
  • Assembly/package: SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal

Public members

Member Signature Purpose
DisplaySortNum Public ReadOnly Property DisplaySortNum As Integer The DISPLAY_SORT_NUM value from LEGAL_BODY_PART_CODE, used to order entries for display instead of sorting by code.
New Friend Sub New(inCode As String, inDescr As String, inSortNum As Integer) Constructs the entry from code, description, and sort number; restricted to the assembly, so instances are only created by clsBodyPartCodes during retrieval.*

Inherited public members

Members in this section are inherited from CodeTableInfo(Of String) in SAIF.Framework. This base type is supplied by an external framework package rather than a documented dependency library in this run, so its members are not itemized here.**

Behavioral notes

  • Instances are only ever constructed internally by clsBodyPartCodes.New while iterating the LEGAL_BODY_PART_CODE query result.*

Constraints and usage notes

  • The Friend constructor means consumers cannot create ad-hoc clsBodyPartCode instances outside this assembly; they must retrieve entries via GetBodyPartCode.*

Note: Statements marked with * were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts. Statements marked with ** could not be confirmed; treat as unknown until verified.
